Training and Rehabilitation
PSS have organized 4 awareness camp with persons with disability along with guardian, Local committee & community leader. From this awareness camp we recruit 25 persons(PwD) for financial assistance as per guide line of Rehaswiss. We form 2 new SHG & included another 9 person in the three old SHG. The have taken training from his/her community traditionally trained up from family. We give financial assistance to 20 persons from Rehaswiss fund and another 5 persons from PSS revolving A/c. Now PSS have organized 80 SHG and through this programme 725 families are benefited.
Special Education Scheme
Regular therapy, assessment, Physical training, Co-Curriculum, Dance, Yoga and Mid-day-meals are the running programme of our education programme organized by Samity. Our reputation is increased in the field of special education in this area due to experienced teaching personals. We do not have hostel and second school bus, our number of students reached up to 150. Discussion between teaching personals and parents are regular process and according to their suggestions we planned the development process of children. For their rehabilitation in personal life in their family as income generating member, Pratibandhi Sahayak Samity arrange vocational training for making Chalk, Candle, Incense stick, tailoring, paper plate etc.
Disha cum Vikaas Scheme
National Trust has permitted to provide for 30 students grant for Disha cum Vikaas for rendering service to MR, Autism, CP and Multiple Disability by daily care about 4 to 6 hours at the age from 6-14 years. The get service regularly by therapy, assessment physical training and counselling of their parents to care, nurture and proper growth of their children. PSS also formed Local Project Committee(LPC) for monitoring the project and how to develop the scheme.
Niramaya Health Insurance
We have included 77 Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and Multiple Disabilities students Niramaya Health Insurance. We are continuing the awareness programme among the guardian where in more children can be included in this scheme. We are trying whereof they getting benefit.
Legal Guardian
We are continuing our endeavor to built up awareness among the guardian to enjoy right Legal Guardian for his /her ID mature son/daughter. In this regard 71 persons have got Legal Guardian by our efforts.
UDID
We are successful to enrolled over 100 persons UDID through online portal. We are giving awareness among the disabled persons for enrolled into UDID online portal.
Act Right Save Sight
PSS have organized a camp with the help of Vivekananda Netra Niramaya Niketan, Chaityanyapur, Haldia, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal regarding awareness to prevent blindness due to increasing sugar. This programme will be contuned.
Medical Camp
PSS is running a medical camp for PwD in a month as per decession of Local Project Committee and member of LPC Dr. Dipanwita Sasmal, Dr. Srabanti Mandal are helping us to conduct the camp.
Distribution Camp
We have organized two distribution camp with the help of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Beraberia Branch. We have given 85 shirts to our students on the eve of Durga Puja and 25 blanket distributed to the poor of the poorest PwD.
Cultural Activities & Excursion
We celebrate 3rd December, International Day of Disable by sports, drawing competition, cultural activities by the disable child. We organized a excursion programme for our students for recreation and amusement. More over, we observe Birth day of Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Independence Day, Republic Day etc. all the year.
